Critical Dan4th. “Who or what is Critical Dan4th?” I hear my currently non-existent readers cry.
Well, firstly here is the ‘critical’ part: for this blog I intend to review different literary works from a slight analytical stance. Thus, ‘critical’.
Secondly, the Dan4th part really should really be spelled out Danforth, as I am actually referring to the The Crucible character of the latter name. The Crucible I think is a marvellous play and Danforth is a really interesting character within the story and so I chose him to go hand-in-hand with the critical.
Besides this, I am enthusiastic about English Language and Literature, and also Theatre.
So I figured with the two things together, I am actually most enthusiastic about the power of words. How they can be used to mean different things, through the written word and through performance.
This blog shall hopefully look at reviewing different literary works with additional comments on the above topics thrown in occasionally.
I should add; there will undoubtedly be a number of spoilers in the review-like posts.
So unless if you don’t want to find out who killed Dumbledore before reading the book yourself…
…then you should have read the last HP book by now anyway.
It’s been out for over 6 years now.
Shame on you.
